Pharmacy Division :

Govt has strived a lot to extend medical aid and good health in every nook & corner of the state. Govt. is also extending its feet towards these courses as demand is increasing in fast growing health sector i.e hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, Pathological labs, clinic and research labs etc.

Job Opportunity :

The diploma holders of J&K State Paramedical Council are having ample of job opportunities.

Mode of Application

Admission to a course can be sought as per the available norms of Government from time to time. At present J&K Board Of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE) is authorized to make admission to all the colleges as per the laid down criterion by the Government. Desiring students desiring admission are required to JKBOPEE online as per the timeline issued by JKBOPEE. Copies of the following documents need to be attached with the form.

Documents:

  • 1) Self-Attested copies of all the qualification certificates (Two Sets).
  • 2) Identity proof.
  • 3) Residence proof.
  • 4) Domicile Certificate.
  • 5) Category Certificate (if any).
  • 6) Passport size photographs of the candidate (06 Nos.).
  • 7) Two photographs of Parent/Guardian.
  • 8) Medical Fitness Certificate.

Award of Diplomas :

J&K State Para Medical Council Will conduct the examination of all the candidates & award diplomas to the successful candidates.

Age Limit :

The candidate should not be less then 17years of age and maximum35 years of age.

Medium of Instruction / Examination :

Medium of instruction/examination will be English only.

Hostel Facilities :

College has Hostel facilities for lodging and boarding for candidates who opt for it. Allotment of hostel seats is done on first come first served basis. The college has at present provision for two hostels, one for girls and one for boys. For more information about hostel charges, rules & regulations and availability of hostel seats students/guardian's are advised to meet the counselor. At the end of session the trainee will require to produce NOC and clear all hostel dues.

Identity Cards :

Each trainee have to furnish 2 copies of his/her passport size colored photographs to the librarian to have library identity card made in his /her name. Besides this each student will be issued college identity card bearing his/her thumb size coloured photograph will be treated as valid document of being a bonafide student of the institute and will entitled him/her to use college facilities meant for college students.

Withdrawal/Termination of candidate :

  • a) Proven misbehavior or misconduct will straightly lead to termination.
  • b) Student once secured admission will not be allowed to leave the course.
  • c) Fees once paid is neither refundable nor adjustable in all or any circumstances.
  • d) A student will be terminated if he is found involved in any anti-social or anti national activities.

Campus Disciplines :

  • 1) Student is not allowed to make any loss to any property of the institute .
  • 2) Students will not be allowed in the laboratories and workshops without apron.
  • 3) Absence due to genuine reasons should be intimated to the concerned people with valid proof.
  • 4) Students need to attend classes regularly.
  • 5) Students are expected to maintain a high degree of discipline in the college premises.
  • 6. Students should maintain silence in the laboratories and handle the components, equipments carefully.
  • 7. Smoking, liquor and drugs are strictly prohibited.
  • 8. Ragging is strictly banned in the campus.

Special Instructions :

  • 1. Applications for admission to a course should be made in the prescribed form to the JKBOPEE only until unless Government decides otherwise .
  • 2. Students will be given an identity card from the institute and in case of loss or theft of card new card will be issued against paying fine of rs,150/- with valid undertaking.
  • 3. Students are advised to go through the prospects carefully and Fees once paid is neither refundable nor adjustable in all circumstances.
  • 4. Ragging/ students union/council is strictly banned in the campus, anyone found to be indulging in these activities will be liable for legal action under the rules.
  • 5. The Students will be liable to disciplinary action or expulsion from the institute if any document submitted or any reference found to be false.
  • 6. The Parents/Guardian's are also advised to keep in constant touch with the head of the institute from time to time in regard to progress and conduct of their wards.
  • 7. All the admissions made on provisional basis and subject to the confirmation of j&k govt under the norms/guidelines of PMC/PCI.
  • 8. During the training period in the institute, the students are expected to maintain discipline and good behavior worthy of reputed coeducational training institute.
  • 9. The students are not allowed to take part in political activities and neither allowed in any anti-social or anti national activities.
  • 10. The students are not allowed to take part time or full time job during the period of his/her training in the institute.
  • 11. The students are expected to obey instructions as notified from time to time.The Head of the institute can impose fine, suspend or expel or rusticate a student if found in gross violation of rules and regulations . The Head of the institute is final authority in all such cases. Strict disciplinary action will be taken against students who remain absent or irregular or who miss examinations / tests conducted by college from time to time.
  • 12. The institution reserves the right to change the rules and regulations. After student takes the admission it is taken for granted that all rules have been properly read by them, No excuse shall be entertained on this account later on.
  • 13. The students are not allowed to leave the college during college hours without due permission.
  • 14. The students are not allowed to meet visitors/friends during college hours.
  • 15. student is bound to obey all the rules & regulations framed by the Govt./ competent authority or the Institute framed from time to time.
